‘Chloe is one of your brightest racket sport talents in Guernsey,’ said her nominator Sara Woolland, impressed with her skills as she plays with her at the Guernsey tennis centre.

At only 13 years old Chloe has represented Guernsey in the U18 inter-insular tennis team this year and won the Channel Island Region U18 Play Your Way to Wimbledon event.

‘She encourages others to play and works hard at her talents,’ said Sara.

‘Chloe is a sweet and polite girl who has grown and blossomed personally and in tennis and padel.’

Chloe has been playing tennis for 10 years and padel for three years and has developed skills that have brought her huge success. She trains at the club every day for about an hour and ‘still finds time to thrive at school and compete in many other sports and activities,’ said Sara.

Chloe looks forward to getting into future inter-insular events for tennis and padel. ‘Chloe is hard-working, dedicated, fun and polite and is a credit to her club, her sport and the island, she deserves to be nominated,’ said Sara.

‘It’s very good, I’m very happy,’ said Chloe when she heard about her nomination.

‘In tennis I enjoy the competitiveness, and I love the enjoyment and happiness tennis and padel bring me, especially when I win.’
